Strengths and weaknesses...

Music video-
Reasons I would want to do a promotion package for a release album is because I have some ideas for what I would do in the music video such as, which song I would use and the themes that the video would show. Making a music video would be what would attract me to choosing album promotion package. I think it would be interesting making a music video and if I were to do it I would make one that uses similar theme to the music video for 'Lovesick- by Peace'. I would like the upbeat pace and fluorescent colours to be influenced into my video if I were to do one. I also really like the video for 'How long will I love you- Ellie Goulding' and would incorporate the same theme into my music video where the two people are very natural in front of the camera.
Reasons why I would not are because, even thought I wouldn't mind making music videos, its not necessarily where I picture myself working in the future.



Advert-
Reasons why I would want to create an advertising package for a new product would be because there is a very wide choice of what I could advertise. Choices include food, make-up, holidays etc. You don't need to include actors into the advert which would be easier on when I would be able to shoot.
Reasons for not wanting to make an advert are not having any ideas for the options to choose from that need to be included in the advertisement package. Even though I know what all of the options are and how they would be made I do not have a good idea for what to do.

Film trailer-
Reasons I would like to make a trailer for a film are because I am extremely interested and have a lot of ideas for what genre, storyline, music, shot cuts and actors I would use. I have thought about working in film, and making a trailer would give me some insight on what it would be like to work in that area. I also think that I would chose to make a movie poster and a magazine front cover to go with the trailer in the promotions package for the film. I would make the film trailer similar to the ones of 'Me, Earl and the dying girl' and 'Paper Towns' where it shows a journey.
Reasons I would not are because I would have to bring people to help me with certain aspects of the filming process. I feel the planning for a film trailer would be harder and a lot more work than the other options.
